The position requires demonstrated qualifications and skill set to contribute successful graphic design solutions to our many projects- spanning across diverse industry verticals including pro and collegiate sports, museums, corporate branding and beyond.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:\nDevelops visual design and/or layout across multiple print and digital mediums and platforms\nSupports and contributes to the Project Team’s executed design solution and deliverables on assigned projects\nExecutes and delivers project-based solutions with speed and quality, while incorporating and maintaining Project Leadership's direction and feedback\nContributes to client presentations and communications as assigned\nUnderstands project deadlines and milestones\nEnsures brand guidelines and standards are met\nInterfaces directly with internal departments to learn and understand potential solutions\nExudes a “Go where needed’ attitude and outlook on role\nParticipates in process improvement and best practices within the department\nFocuses on learning and absorbing new information and knowledge from DI subject matter experts (design team members and support staff, DI team members, clients, etc.)\nSupports the success of studio team members\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES\nDemonstrate a strong proficiency in design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Sketchup), research skills (for storytelling)\nAbility to storyboard, visualize and articulate concepts for others\nAbility to learn new skills and software quickly\nAbility to take direction and constructive critique well\nAuthentic desire to be a team player\nBe coachable\nDemonstrate progress in quality and design solution technique\nDemonstrate development of personal time management and multi-tasking skills\nQuality control of design documents\nIndependent thinking/solutions and autonomy\nPossess a developing knowledge of material and fabrication methods relevant to design\nEDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE\nAssociate or Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.F.A) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Industrial Design, Interior Architecture or related field\nKnowledge of print production methods\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nThe employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, or crawl\nSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus\nEmployee must be able to talk and hear\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nDue to our onside Fabrication process, the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
