This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of client engagements, supervising accounting staff, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and serving as a strategic advisor to business clients across a variety of industries.\nThe ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Accounting & Advisory\nOversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple client engagements, including:\nGeneral ledger management\nMonth-end and year-end close\nFinancial statement preparation\nCash flow management\nBudgeting and forecasting\nAccount reconciliations\nReview and analyze financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP.\nServe as the primary financial contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients.\nProvide strategic insights and recommendations to help clients improve financial performance and operational efficiency.\nAssist clients with process improvement, internal controls, and accounting system optimization.\nTeam Leadership & Management\nSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff within the Managed Accounting Services team.\nReview work performed by staff accountants and senior accountants to ensure quality and timeliness.\nManage workflow, project deadlines, and client deliverables across multiple engagements.\nSupport hiring, training, and performance evaluations.\nOperational Excellence\nDevelop and maintain standardized accounting procedures and best practices.\nEnsure compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with tax and advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology solutions.\nParticipate in business development activities, including client onboarding and relationship expansion.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.\n5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within public accounting, outsourced accounting, or client advisory services.\nPrior experience supervising accounting teams and managing client relationships.\nStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.\nProficiency with accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Xero, or similar systems.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nExceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Attributes\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.\nClient-service mindset with strong interpersonal skills.\nStrategic thinker with attention to detail.\nComfortable working in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.\nProven ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative culture.\nWhy Join Us\nWe offer a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where professionals are empowered to make an impact for both clients and the firm.
