You will partner closely with measurement and engineering teams to turn complex spin-qubit behaviour into practical understanding and improved simulation capability.\nResponsibilities\nLead simulation studies of spin transport and time-dependent spin dynamics in silicon spin-qubit systems.\nDevelop, validate and improve computational models of open quantum systems, including noise and decoherence.\nCollaborate with experimentalists to analyse and interpret measurement data, test hypotheses and guide future experiments.\nBuild reusable simulation workflows that support device understanding and the development of fault-tolerant quantum computing.\nCommunicate findings clearly across theory, measurement and engineering teams.\nRequirements\nA Bachelor’s degree or doctorate in physics, electrical engineering or a closely related field.\nHands-on experience modelling spin systems and simulating their dynamics.\nWorking knowledge of master-equation formalisms, open quantum systems and relevant numerical methods.\nStrong scientific programming skills, particularly in Python.\nA collaborative approach and confidence working on open-ended research problems across physics and engineering.\nGood to have\nExperience simulating spin qubits, including electron shuttling or other time-dependent control and transport problems.\nExperience working directly with experimental teams and interpreting real device data.\nKnowledge of solid-state physics, electronic structure, noise characterisation or related quantum-information topics.\nExperience developing reliable,
