You will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of our company’s ambitious technical roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experimental physics, electrical engineering, or a related field, with experience in designing, implementing, and optimising measurement systems for quantum devices. Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality and scalability of our quantum processors. \nResponsabilidades\nUndertake specific research project/s and contribute to development of research activities.\nDesign and develop measurement setups for quantum devices, including cryogenic systems, microwave electronics, and data acquisition systems.\nPerform detailed characterisation and analysis of quantum devices, ensuring high precision and accuracy in measurements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate measurement systems with quantum hardware and software.\nDesign, build, and maintain measurement apparatus.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to measurement systems and equipment.\nDocument experimental procedures, results, and findings in a clear and concise manner.\nSupport the dissemination of research outcomes through appropriate channels and outlets.\nContribute to a positive team culture and foster a collaborative working environment.\nRequisitos\nPhD, or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or a related field.\nMinimum 3 of years of experience in experimental research, particularly in quantum measurement or related areas.\nKnowledge of fundamentals of quantum mechanics.\nProficiency in using and programming measurement instruments (e.g., AWGs, FPGAs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analysers).\nDemonstrated capability to independently design and execute experiments.\nProven ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.\nStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students.\nProactive and keen learner.\nBonus if you have:Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductors and CMOS technology.\nExperience in setting up a scientific laboratory.\nKnowledge of quantum computing.\nExperience with qubit measurements.\nKnowledge
