You’ll contribute to general ledger accounting, financial analysis and internal reporting while using technology, automation and AI to improve accounting processes and efficiency.\nDirect Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.\nWhat You’ll Do and Impact:\nPrepare journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accurate general ledger accounting and month-end reporting.\nReconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to support complete and accurate financial results.\nPrepare monthly financial reports that help Finance and business leaders understand performance and make informed decisions.\nAnalyze actual-to-budget results and communicate key variances to improve visibility into financial performance.\nImprove recurring accounting and reporting processes using AI, automation and technology to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.\nSupport financial planning and analysis through accurate financial data, reporting and ad hoc analysis.\nMaintain customer sales tax exemption information and supporting records to ensure accurate tax treatment.\nManage assigned accounting responsibilities with appropriate independence while collaborating with the Corporate Accounting team.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nCurrent enrollment in a four-year undergraduate Accounting program with completion of at least one foundational accounting course.\nGPA of 3.3 or higher.\nAbility to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis and basic financial modeling.\nAbility to analyze financial information, investigate discrepancies and apply sound judgment to accounting and business questions.\nAbility to communicate financial information clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.\nAbility to learn and apply new accounting processes, technologies and tools as business needs evolve.\nAbility to use technology, including AI-enabled tools, responsibly to improve productivity, analysis and accounting processes.\nJob to be performed in the location listed.
