In this role, you will develop the backend systems and agentic workflows that analyze cloud costs, reliability, security, logs, and architectural risks.\nWhile prior GenAI experience is an advantage, we prioritize strong cloud judgment, backend engineering excellence, and the curiosity to build agentic systems from the ground up.\nRequirements\nArchitect and build the agentic systems powering our FinOps, SRE, and cloud architecture solutions.\nDesign and implement agents capable of investigating AWS environments, complex cloud data, and delivering insights.\nEncode deep AWS operational expertise, spanning IAM, networking, and management into agent tools, decision logic, and retrieval systems.\nDevelop the backend platform to support production-grade agents, focusing on AWS integrations.\nIteratively improve agent performance based on production feedback, analysis, and customer usage patterns.\nMaintain full ownership of the product lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and long-term iteration.\nCollaborate with product and engineering teams to transform real-world cloud challenges into dependable, automated capabilities.\nWhat we’re looking for\nMust have\n7+ years of hands-on AWS or DevOps experience in production-scale environments.\n2+ years of backend development experience, with a proven track record of building and operating production systems.\nDeep technical proficiency in AWS services, cloud networking, and security best practices.\nStrong backend engineering skills, ideally with Python and native AWS services.\nExperience architecting APIs, asynchronous jobs, and complex data-processing workflows.\nProficiency in designing for resilience, including observability, and robust error handling.\nOwnership mindset with the ability to navigate and drive customer outcomes.\nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.\nNice to have\nExperience building GenAI applications, LLM workflows, RAG systems, or evaluation pipelines.\nFamiliarity with tool calling, agent orchestration, and prompt engineering.\nProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and Kubernetes.\nBackground in cloud cost optimization, SRE practices, or security automation.\nExperience thriving in high-growth startup environments.\nDegree in Computer Science or equivalent practical
