Join a team that’s shaping the next generation of media and entertainment.\nDive into the Customer Operations organization as a summer intern\nThis role works directly with our Engineering organization and provides hands-on experience working on the newly built Product Customer Experience (PCX) Lab in El Segundo, CA.\nIn this role you may work on\nImplementing software updates and feature enhancements.\nIdentify and research issues through various sources and feedback channels to create solutions. \nInvestigate system gaps and opportunities. \nWho we’re looking for:\nUndergraduate or graduate students majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics\nSolid general technical knowledge and ability to learn new tools quickly\nStrong technical acumen with analytical problem-solving skills\nFamiliarity with DIRECTV products and services\nEngineering-focused mindset with attention to detail and innovation\nCoding experience across a broad range of programming languages\nDemonstrated ability to succeed in a virtual or remote environment\nComfortable presenting ideas and engaging with leadership\n(Desired) Exposure to artificial intelligence technologies, particularly computer vision (e.g., image recognition, object detection, video analytics), is a strong plus\nThis is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week in our El Segundo lab. Candidates need to be local to the Los Angeles area and have reliable transportation.\nProgram Details\nDuration: 10-week internship\n Program Dates: 6/7 - 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 - 8/20/27\nEligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future\nThis position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers.
