They may also guide less experienced team members.\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nOperations Management\nSupport and manage daily business operations so that workflows run smoothly and on schedule. \nExecute operational plans within assigned areas of the organization. \nResolve a wide range of operational issues with creative, solution-based approaches. \nPolicy and Process Development\nDevelop, document, and implement policies and procedures that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. \nMonitor, evaluate, and refine existing processes, procedures, and systems. \nProcess Improvement and Cost Reduction\nAnalyze operational trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings. \nWork with cross-functional teams to design and carry out improvement initiatives. \nProject and Program Management\nManage multiple projects or programs at the same time, from planning through completion. \nBuild project plans that account for staffing needs, timelines, and dependencies. \nLead small projects or portions of larger team and organizational initiatives. \nPerformance Monitoring and Reporting\nIdentify, track, and report on key performance metrics to confirm organizational goals are met. \nPrepare reports and dashboards that give leadership usable insights. \nStakeholder Engagement and Communication\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. \nPresent complex information clearly, in writing and verbally, to a variety of audiences. \nTeam Support\nIdentify and proactively address staffing issues that could affect project delivery. \nProvide guidance and informal mentorship to less experienced team members. \nWhat you’ll need to be successful:\nRequired\n3 - 5 years of experience in business operations or a closely related field. \nFull understanding of business operations, with the ability to resolve a wide range of issues creatively. \nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once and develop project plans that account for staffing. \nProven ability to identify and proactively address staffing or talent issues. \nStrong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret trends and metrics and turn them into action. \nExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. \nAbility to work independently with a moderate level of oversight, and to collaborate effectively across functions. \nPreferred\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). \nExperience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. \nProject management experience or certification (such as PMP). \nProficiency with data analysis and reporting tools. \nMay require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.\nThe Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones.
