As an Inventory Warehouse Manager in this Organization, you’ll manage, direct, and supervise the work of a group of bargained for warehouse assistants & lead inventory specialists (IC) who oversee replenishment of inventory, including CPE, materials, and tools within established policies based on production schedules, current supply, customer orders, and forecasts at one or more DIRECTV primary and remote field warehouse locations.\nHere's what you’ll do:\nPlan for the DIRECTV and SAFETY equipment needs for 75 + technicians in 7 locations across OR, WA, and HI. \nCollaborate with Field Leadership for support requirements at these locations. \nSupervise Safety, Attendance, Training, and Policy Compliance of warehouse employees in OR, WA, and HI. \nMonthly and Quarterly requirements for travel to locations for Safety and Operational Observations. \nOversee the maintenance of current inventory records. \nControl amount of material on hand by supervising perpetual inventory. \nSupervise employees work in the assigned locations. \nOperate computer terminal and other computer related equipment relevant to job duties. \nWork on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors. \nExercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. \nProvide direct supervision to employees in the daily performance of tasks. \nAct as advisor to unit. \nInfluence decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. \nResponsible for the following areas for direct reports - career planning, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies. \nUse and/or wear appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety practices and procedures. \nWhat you'll need to be successful:\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent related network experience. Technical degree beneficial but not required. \n1 - 3 years of leadership/supervisory/team and or related technical experience. \nMinimal Warehouse or Distribution experience; could include Big Box Retail stores. \nData Driven Position requiring Excel Skills. \nMay require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data.
