This role also performsaccuratedata entry of client trip and fuel records to support fuel tax reporting and compliance. The positionmonitorsmanifest activity, resolves issues, and communicates effectively with clients and customs brokers to ensuretimelyprocessing. This position requires the flexibility to work evenings, after-hours, weekends, and other assigned shifts.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nPrepare and submit electronic manifests to CBP and CBSA.\n\nManage and track ACE/ACI activity and follow up on any issues that arise.\n\nCommunicate with clients and customs brokers by email and phone.\n\nIdentify and apply the proper method to enter all assigned trip and fuel records.\n\nExamine documents, anticipate common errors, and correct them before entering data.\n\nIdentify issues within trip and fuel records that may affect the accuracy of data used for a company’s tax return.\n\nVerify accuracy and completeness of all data entered.\n\nPerform clerical duties such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing, and photocopying.\n\nMaintain spreadsheets and update them as needed.\n\nHandle incoming calls and manage a high volume of daily inquiries.\n\nConduct drug and alcohol collections within the office environment, ensuring all procedures are completed accurately, securely, and in accordance with applicable collection guidelines.\n\nPerform specimen collections including urine, oral-fluid, and breath collections based on client requirements.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nKey Skills & Experiences:\nHigh School DiplomaorCanadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC)required.\n\nMinimum of1year of experience in data entry, administrative support, customer service, ora relatedoffice environment.\n\nProficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, customs brokers, and internal teams.\n\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nObtain DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification after 3 months of employment.\n\nObtain DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) certification after 3 months of employment.\n\nBenefits:\nVacation Pay:\n4% for those employed less than five (5) years.\n\n6% for those employed less than ten (10) years.\n\n8% for those employed for more than ten (10) years.\n\nPaid holidays: As per Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA).\nSick leave: As per provincial legislation.\nOther benefits: Additional company benefits may be provided and will be discussed during the hiring process.\nWork schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week). Shifts rotate within the operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday coverage is required as part of the rotation. \nInternal Mapping: This role aligns to the internal job profile of Representative I, Transportation Compliance within the Transportation Compliance job family.\nPhysical Requirements: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required tospeak, hear, have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Walk (occasionally), sit- up to 8hrs. a day, stand (occasionally), use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, able to lift up to 15lbs.(occasionally).
