This role applies strong business analysis and requirements management skills along with technical fluency in APIs, data mapping, authentication, webhooks, polling, and integration architectures. The analyst translates functional and technical requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, enabling Engineering and functional teams to deliver integrations efficiently while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.\nEssential Functions and responsibilities:\nAnalyze integration processes to identify opportunities to improve scalability, automation, reliability, and time to market across partner and platform integrations.\n\nDefine evaluation criteria to determine when integration capabilities should be standardized, configurable, or tailored for customer-specific needs.\n\nGather and maintain requirements by analyzing business and technical needs for strategic partner integrations and platform capabilities.\n\nDevelop detailed API requirements for data exchanges, workflows, background check initiation, status updates, results delivery, and related integration functionality.\n\nTranslate partner capabilities into actionable user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria aligned with business and technical objectives.\n\nRecommend reusable patterns by analyzing common customer and ATS needs to support scalable, repeatable integration approaches.\n\nIdentify automation opportunities to reduce manual implementation effort through standardization, reusable services, and standardized APIs.\n\nCoordinate cross-functional requirements throughout discovery, development, certification, launch, support, and enhancement cycles.\n\nResearch ATS capabilities including APIs, data models, authentication, webhooks, rate limits, and other integration mechanisms.\n\nMaintain data mappings between internal platforms and partner systems, documenting candidate, job, application, status, recruiter, and related data flows.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering to evaluate API changes, technical solutions, architectural tradeoffs, observability improvements, and reliability enhancements.\n\nAnalyze enhancement proposals and recommend priorities based on strategic value, recurring customer needs, implementation effort, and technical debt.\n\nDocument integration standards by maintaining clear requirements, API changes, patterns, and feedback from customer-facing teams to identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvement.\n\nOther duties assigned.\n\nKey Skills and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Anequivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\n7+ years of experience in business analysis, integration analysis, systems analysis, technical product support, or a related technical discipline.\n\nExperience working with SaaS integrations, APIs, or integration platforms.\n\nStrong technical understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, data mapping, webhooks, polling, and error handling.\n\nExperience translating functional and technical concepts into business requirements, user stories, product specifications, and acceptance criteria.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to organize and manage competing priorities.\n\nAbility to operate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\n\nExperience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR technology, HCM, recruiting, or background screening.\n\nExperience supporting integration products or developer/API products through implementation and ongoing enhancement.\n\nFamiliarity with event-driven architectures, webhooks, middleware, and integration monitoring.\n\nBenefits:\nPersonal and Sick Paid Time Off.\n\n401k with a highly competitive match.\n\n11 Paid Holidays.\n\nMedical/Dental and Vision.\n\nGroup Life Insurance, HSA/FSA.\n\nEmployee Assistance Program.\n\nEducational Assistance Program.\n\nWork Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST\nTravel: This position requires regular travel to support partner and client meetings, integration discovery, implementation activities, industry conferences, and related business needs.
