This role will be part of a diversified analytical team whose aim is to expand new and emerging data science and predictive methodologies, providing strategic market insights that enable effective, data-driven decision-making for business units while staying closely aligned with brand strategy and priorities.\nThe Senior Data Analyst is responsible for identifying, building, and maintaining data analytics solutions to meet the needs of business users. This role will produce analytics products by working with the business and the other data analysts to deliver outcomes of moderate to advanced complexity. This role will serve as a mentor and advisor to mid-level and junior data analysts.\nCore Responsibilities\nActively collaborate with business leaders to understand their business goals and objectives and provide them with new data analytics solutions to enable them to expand markets and grow membership, sales, investments, and charitable giving through the following:\nEnhancing existing, as well as developing new predictive analytics work product, visualizations, and workflows to analyze complex business issues, offering actionable insights and solutions for driving operational enhancements and enterprise growth through strategic data-driven decisions.\nIdentifying and enhancing valuable data sources (within the organization and externally) through the enrichment of existing in-house data with third party data sources.\nCommunicating insights through the development and implementation of data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for internal and external use.\nCollaborating with Department managers, IT, IT Security, Data Warehouse, vendors, and contractors with regards to enterprise and departmental data needs.\nRemaining current on new analytical trends, practices, technologies, and solutions, where appropriate to ensure their timely introduction for competitive advantage. \nGrow a culture of data analytics by providing training, awareness, and other events such as “data days” for employees in the business whose duties encompass data and analytics.\nMeeting with stakeholders and making communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions.\nSkills Qualifications\nAnalyze, interpret, and present data using industry relevant software i.e. Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS or other industry software.\nEffective oral and written skills.\nBeing comfortable talking about technical matters with businesspeople and business matters with technical people.\nDemonstrated success at getting buy-in for ideas with a demonstrated affinity for metrics.\nExcellent team-building, motivating, and conflict-resolving qualities.\nAbility to manage key customer relationships, including senior managers.\nAbility to analyze information to find trends or diagnose problem areas.\nBe decisive - ownership of the data gathered and the ability to make informed, critical decisions quickly.\nExperience executing corporate-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.\nEducation\nEducation: BS or BA required.
