This includes bringing transactional HR expertise to the business and its people as well as integrating people strategies with the business strategy\n\nAreas of responsibility may include but not limited to:\n\nRecruitment\n\nOnboarding\n\nTraining & development\n\nPerformance (driving for a high performance culture, performance improvement strategies, etc.)\n\nTalent Management (planning & tracking of agreed actions)\n\nRetention Planning\n\nSuccession planning\n\nIR\n\nTransformation: EE & Skills Development\n\nEmployee relations\n\nReporting & trend analysis\n\nCorrective action for HR insights\n\nEnsure implementation of HR policies & procedures\n\nPartnership with area exec in driving for people objectives & outcomes\n\nEngagement & culture management\n\nExecution of people strategies & initiatives for own area\n\nProblem solving (team performance, engagement, culture, turnover, etc.)\n\nOrganisational Development\n\nCompetencies\n\nWell-developed interpersonal skills;\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with people at all levels from staff to CEO;\n\nStrong persuasion skills and credibility;\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills;\n\nThe ability to be task- and deadline-driven in a highly pressurized environment;\n\nExcellent organizational & time management skills;\n\nAbility to work independently.\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nQualification:\n\nBachelor Degree: HR/BA/equivalent\n\nExperience:\n\n5 – 8 years’ work experience in a human resources environment \n\nKnowledge of Success Factors (SAP) \n\nPostgraduate HR Qualification advantageous \n\nIndustry specific experience advantageous \n\nDiscovery Experience (advantageous)\n\nEMPLOYMENT EQUITY \n\nThe Company’s approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
