The role supports various HR functions while aligning theoretical knowledge with practical workplace exposure, as part of the learner’s qualification requirement.\n\nAreas of responsibility may include but not limited to:\n\nLearning and Development Administration: support the coordination, scheduling, communications and reporting for learning programmes and employee development initiatives. \n\nTalent Acquisition Support: assist with recruitment administration, interview coordination, candidate communications and support for screening junior-role applications under supervision.\n\nTraining and Workforce Data Management: maintain learning records, update training platforms, and produce reports on learning participation. \n\nEmployee and Learner Communications: support communications, scheduling and logistics for learning programmes, interviews and workshops and People team initiatives. \n\nGeneral HR Operations Support: assist with non-confidential People administration, reporting, documentation management and continuous improvement activities across the GIS People team. \n\nPersonal Attributes and Skills\n\nStrong Relationship skills. \n\nStrong Collaboration skills. \n\nStrong focus on Service Excellence. \n\nTakes Initiative. \n\nProcess and Task driven. \n\nAttention to detail. \n\nUses discretion when dealing with confidential correspondence/information. \n\nManages time effectively. \n\nWorks in a systematic, methodical and orderly way, within strict SLAs. \n\nWorks productively in a pressurized environment.\n\nCustomer service oriented\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nEssential\n\nMatric/ Grade 12.\n\nCompleted (N6) in Human Resources at TVET Colleges\n\nHighly proficient in Microsoft Office\n\nAdvantageous\n\nProficiency in Microsoft\n\nEMPLOYMENT EQUITY \n\nThe Company’s approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
