They offer flexibility when life happens and employees understand how they affect the bottom-line.\nWhat you'll get to do:\nLead strategic direction and vision of the manufacturing processes for the organization (new opportunities, equipment selection, process inputs) through new technologies, processes and techniques \nDevelop and implement automation projects to reduce direct labor costs\nDrive continuous improvement culture within the manufacturing and technical teams through the use of key performance indicators to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost \nCollect, organize, utilize, and analyze data within and around the manufacturing process to aid in variation reduction, problem solving and continuous improvements\nUtilize ERP/MPR systems (Plex) as well as other statistical and data analysis tools\nEnsure performance accountability through mentoring, coaching, and performance review/feedback of engineering staff\nResponsible for environmental and hazardous waste compliance\nCommunicate and consult with customers in the areas of engineering, quality, and business \nLead project management activities for quotation and launch new business\nResponsible for the maintenance department and resources to ensure the facility and production equipment meets or exceeds regulatory, business, and operational requirements\nKey contributor and member of the safety committee.
