Dispelix is headquartered in Finland.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a motivated and result driven QC Engineer to strengthen our Quality Control (QC) team inEspoo, Finland. You will work as a QC Lead in our R&D projects, work hands on with our diverse state-of-the-art AR waveguide metrology equipment, and develop the existing and new setups as well as measurement methods. You will also analyze the measurement results for other members of the R&D project teams. The role requires travelling.\nWhat you will do:\nParticipate in R&D projects, create QC plans and execute the plans, including hands-on laboratory measurement work, and reporting the results.\n\nParticipate in development of metrology tools and methods.\n\nCreate and develop needed scripts to enable the measurements from the beginning until the end of delivering the results and analysis.\n\nSupport remotely and possibly on site the metrology activities in our AR waveguide factory in China as a member of the Espoo QC team.\n\nWhat you bring:\nAn MSc or a PhD degree in Optics or Physics (Computer science/Optics/Color science/Machine vision)\n\nStrong programming skills in Matlab, Python, and maybe C++/C+\n\nExperience and understanding of data processing/analysis\n\nExperience with tools and/or methods for efficient measurement procedures\n\nFluent English - both written and spoken\n\nBeneficial skills:\nCollaborating and working efficiently with teammates who have diverse backgrounds\n\nBackground in color science\n\nKnowledge of waveguide/diffractive optics and machine vision\n\nExperience with optical measurements\n\nAs a person, we hope that you:\nAre eager to do practical hands-on measurement work\n\nHave an open attitude and are comfortable with dynamic environment\n\nEnjoy problem solving and adapt to changes\n\nTake responsibility and carry through agreed tasks\n\nWorking at Dispelix\nDispelix offers a modern workplace with flexible working arrangements, comfortable offices, and state-of-the-art R&D facilities.
