Their customers rely on the platform to connect with the accounting systems they already use, so the integration layer is central to the product.\nThe role\nYou'll design, build and own the integrations that link the platform to ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage and Microsoft Dynamics. You'll work closely with a Staff Engineer and take real ownership, from scoping through production. You'll spend your time on:\nBuilding and improving REST and SOAP integrations that hold up against messy real-world customer setups\nDesigning sync, mapping, validation and reconciliation workflows that keep data accurate between systems\nHandling partial failures, retries and eventual consistency, with idempotency and audit trails built in\nImproving performance and reliability, adding logging and alerting, and finding the root cause when an integration breaks\nWorking with the onboarding and support teams to get customers connected and live\nContributing to code reviews, documentation and engineering standards\nThis team is also actively adopting AI-assisted development with tools like Cursor, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, so you'll have room to work that way.\nWhat we're looking for\n5+ years of software engineering with production systems\nStrong C# and .NET, including backend services and APIs\nProven experience integrating with ERP, accounting or financial systems\nSolid knowledge of REST and SOAP, including authentication, error handling, retries and versioning\nExperience with data synchronization, transformation and reconciliation\nStrong SQL Server skills: query design, optimization and data modeling\nExperience with event-driven or message-based architectures\nIndependence and clear communication with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders\nBonus points for:\nHands-on NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage or Dynamics integration work\nA background in fintech, payments, AP or fund administration\nAzure experience (Service Bus, Functions, API Management)\nSFTP, EDI or file-based integration patterns\nPython for scripting and tooling\nMulti-tenant SaaS experience\nObservability practices such as structured logging and tracing\nDaily use of AI coding tools\nDetails\nLocation: Fully remote\nSchedule: US business hours, Central time preferred but can work in Eastern time\nType: Full-time and long-term\nTime off: 10 paid vacation days and 8 paid national holidays per year\nWhy this one?\nYou'll own the integration layer of a growing platform, not just pick tickets off a backlog.
