You will be up to date with modern frontend technologies, enjoy building intuitive experiences for both web and mobile, and want to work in a high-performance, fast-paced and ambitious environment.\nWe're a small team, so everyone has a real say in what we build and how. If that sounds like where you do your best work, you'll fit right in.\nYou'll work closely with product, design, QA and backend engineers, and your ideas will help shape what we build.\nThis is a remote-first role, with the flexibility to work from home.\nHow You’ll Create with Impact\nWe build the PropertyPal web app with React, TypeScript and Next.js, and our iOS and Android apps with React Native.\nAs a Frontend Engineer at PropertyPal you will:\nBuild, maintain and own features across the PropertyPal web and mobile apps\n\nTake responsibility for defining and delivering the solution for complex features, working closely with product and design\n\nHelp ship and maintain our iOS and Android apps, including app store and over-the-air releases\n\nBuild efficient, reusable frontend components and shared code that work across web and mobile\n\nUse AI development tools such as Claude Code every day to deliver better products faster\n\nKeep our codebase clean, scalable, secure and well tested\n\nLook after the health of the systems you work on, in production as well as in development\n\nKeep up with new technologies and techniques in frontend and mobile development\n\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll need to Play Your Part\n3-5 years demonstrated experience in a similar commercial role\n\nExcellent JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with significant professional experience of React\n\nSolid experience with HTML and CSS, and experience building fully responsive, mobile-first web interfaces\n\nExperience working with RESTful APIs\n\nUnit and integration testing experience, using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library or Cypress\n\nA daily user of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot\n\nStrong communication skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative while being a strong teammate\n\nAdvantage if you have\nExperience of mobile app releases: App Store Connect, Google Play Console, code signing and over-the-air updates\n\nExperience building, shipping and maintaining a React Native app in production\n\nExperience with native build tooling such as Xcode, Gradle and CocoaPods\n\nExperience with Next.js\n\nExperience with Redux Toolkit or styled-components\n\nExperience with CI/CD, for example GitHub Actions\n\nWeb and mobile app performance experience\n\nWhat's it like to work here\nYou will join a small, experienced engineering team building products used by a large share of people in Northern Ireland when they move home.
