(DSI) is a fast-growing company seeking a DevOps Engineer to work closely with DSI’s Customer Engagement project teams and provide the customer with first-line implementation support.\nThe selected candidate will support customer deployments and assist with installation and administrative configuration as required. The candidate will also help triage and route incoming requests, troubleshoot applications or environment issues, and remediate them. Acting as the customer's initial point of contact, the candidate will work closely with the project team to advance solutions implemented by the customer.\nJob Requirements:\nProactively manage and support existing infrastructure, networks, applications, and solution systems and structures.\nEstablish systems by planning, executing, installing, configuring, and testing PCs, servers, hardware, software, LAN, and WAN networks, operating and system management systems, and defining system and operational policies and procedures.\nMaintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, tuning, and running security scans.\nAssist with planned and unplanned customer software deployments and AEON Knowledge Base updates, utilizing a matrix team of staff across DSI who provide expertise in web-based application and installation, AEON functionality, and AEON Account Management.\nDocument and maintain customer test and production environments and processes to ensure that DSI installations conform to customer processes and that DSI and the customer are aligned regarding the state, timing, and success of each process step.\nFunction as a Tier-3 support participant to resolve help desk tickets, calls, and/or change requests where installation/application configuration may be an issue.\nParticipate in infrastructure architecture and testing strategy, create and execute PowerShell scripts, and maintain all production and development systems.\nRequired Experience:5 - 10 years of experience in development and operations or related IT, computer, or operations field.\nKnowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.\nAbility to work in a collaborative environment for a matrixed organization.\nExperience with Microsoft operating systems/Windows environments.\nPrevious experience with software development, infrastructure, and operations.\nAbility to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nProven ability to communicate technical details to a non-technical audience.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nExperience with VMware and Microsoft Technology Stack.\nExperience and understanding of Microsoft infrastructure architecture components for .NET applications in sufficient detail to understand version terminologies and verifications.\nExperience with Microsoft Server administration, e.g., Windows Servers, Active Directory, TFS, SharePoint, SQL, etc.\nExperience with security configurations, SSL, TLS, and appropriate compliance.\nExperience with LAN and WAN configurations and setup, including Group Policies and Windows Security.\nExperience with the creation and execution of PowerShell scripts.\nExperience with software development and maintenance practices and methodologies.\nFamiliarity and experience with Office 365, Cloud infrastructure, and support.\nExcellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.\nAbility to interact professionally with diverse executives, managers, and subject matter experts.\nSelf-starter, adaptable, and process-oriented, providing various project support levels.\nEffective communication skills.\n Desired Experience:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.\nExperience with A&A/ATO processes\nExperience with AWS and or Azure deployments.\nDistributed Solutions, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location.
