They will be responsible for building infrastructure as code, monitoring and managing core IT services.\nThis role will require approximately 30% of their time in help desk support, but the goal is to automate that away. Ditto is a highly technical and sophisticated work force capable of self helping if given the systems to do so. One of the main goals of this role is to build the automations to enable this. \nWhile this is a remote position, it is only for the Atlanta area. There will be an expectation to make trips to the office for special projects or troubleshooting, but there is no expectation for regularly working out of the office.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn converting the configuration management for key services to infrastructure as code. This will mean understanding the business needs and processes around the service, required approvers and approval workflows and how to capture these requirements in technical controls.\n\nOne of the first big projects will be converting a GitHub instance to use Enterprise Managed Users with a Terraform driven configuration workflow.\n\nTriaging and prioritizing automation projects based on statistics gathered through our ITSM.\n\nWorking with the security team to implement new security controls, apply system hardening and monitoring.\n\nDocumenting system run books and inventory.\n\nWhat You'll Need\n6+ years of relevant experience\n\nUS Citizenship and the ability to get clearance\n\nAn eye for quality, correctness, scale and consistency\n\nInterested in the process and procedures on how things get done, not just getting it done\n\nStrong experience in Terraform with the ability to implement new workflows and train others\n\nExperience with FleetDM and building policies and reports to detect and prevent issues\n\nExperience in macOS and Linux desktop support and troubleshooting\n\nA history of defining and automating manual IT processes\n\nStrong understanding of identity management including SAML, OIDC, and SCIM\n\nNice to Haves\nExperience in Okta administration\n\nStrong scripting skills in at least one common programming language such as Python\n\nExperience working in government or defense under CMMC, FedRAMP or similar regulatory environments\n\nDatadog experience and the ability to build dashboards and alerts\n\nBackground in managing AWS, GCP or similar cloud provider\n\nExperience in Nix\n\nExperience with Tracecat or an equivalent SOAR\n\nThe Benefits of Building with Us\nWe offer competitive salaries and meaningful equity.
