About The Role
We are looking for a consultant who combines deep engineering capability with strong consulting and delivery skills.
This is a hands-on consulting role where you will lead the design and delivery of modern software and AI-enabled solutions across a variety of client environments. You’ll work across modern cloud-native application development, architecture and design, AI-assisted engineering practices and developer workflows, and building AI-enabled products and experiences.
As a lead consultant, you’ll be expected to lead technical conversations with clients, shape solutions under ambiguous conditions, guide delivery outcomes end-to-end, support and mentor engineers, and stay hands-on with architecture, coding and implementation.

About You
You’re an experienced software engineer and technical consultant with broad exposure across modern technology ecosystems.
You’ve likely spent years working across different languages, frameworks, cloud platforms and delivery environments, giving you the adaptability to move between projects and solve unfamiliar problems quickly.
You have been an early adopter in the AI transformation, and have practical experience using AI tools in delivering outcomes in production, and able to lead harness engineering.
Beyond AI-assisted engineering, you also have commercial experience designing or developing AI-enabled applications using technologies such as LLM APIs and platforms, RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering.
You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, engaging directly with clients, facilitating technical discussions, and balancing pragmatism with engineering quality.
You bring a consulting mindset - listening deeply, asking thoughtful questions, influencing outcomes, and helping teams move forward effectively.
Tech Skills
12+ years of commercial software engineering experience
Strong full-stack engineering capability across modern back-end and front-end ecosystems, such as Java, C#/.net, Node / Typescript, Python, Go, Typescript/JavaScript, React, Next.js, Angular, Vue
Strong understanding of modern software architecture and distributed systems
Experience designing and delivering solutions from concept through to production
Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, DevOps and engineering quality practices
Commercial experience with cloud-native platforms
Experience with IaC, containerisation and deployment automation
Commercial experience using AI tooling to improve software delivery and engineering workflows
Experience building or integrating AI-enabled applications
Practical experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic workflows
Strong understanding of Agile and lean delivery practices, with experience shaping backlogs, defining milestones and delivering iteratively
Consulting Skills
Experience leading technical projects and engineering teams end-to-end
Strong client engagement and stakeholder management capability
Able to to facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and technical discussions
Able to shape solutions collaboratively with clients and internal teams
Comfortable balancing speed, quality and commercial outcomes
Experience contributing to pre-sales, estimation and solution proposals
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders
Able to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity
Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capability
Adaptable across enterprise and startup delivery environments
Passionate about mentoring, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
