The Lead SCADA Engineer provides direction to SCADA engineering resources, serves as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, drives quality and standards across projects, and remains hands-on in complex SCADA development and integration.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTeam Leadership & Technical Mentorship\nLead and mentor SCADA Engineers and Associate SCADA Engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and professional development.\nCoordinate engineering resources and priorities across multiple concurrent SCADA projects.\nProvide ongoing feedback and support the development of technical capabilities through training and knowledge sharing.\nEstablish and reinforce SCADA development standards, best practices, and quality expectations.\nServe as the primary escalation point for complex SCADA development, integration, visualization, scripting, and performance issues.\nAdvanced SCADA Development & Technical Execution\nLead the design and development of complex Ignition Perspective projects for mission-critical BMS and EPMS applications.\nDesign advanced graphics, templates, dashboards, floorplans, custom components, and reusable visualization resources.\nConfigure and troubleshoot Ignition gateways, redundancy, security, user roles, tag providers, databases, and external connectivity.\nDevelop complex UDT structures, alarming strategies, historian integrations, scripts, and automation workflows.\nLead integrations involving PLCs, Kepware, OPC UA, MQTT, BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP, SQL databases, APIs, and third-party systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex data connectivity, visualization, database, scripting, integration, and system performance issues.\nLead user acceptance testing, interface validation, and functional testing for complex SCADA solutions.\nProject Leadership & Quality Assurance\nProvide technical leadership across multiple SCADA projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, client requirements, and engineering standards.\nConduct technical and design reviews of engineering work and provide guidance to resolve quality or technical concerns.\nIdentify technical risks, dependencies, and resource needs and develop appropriate mitigation plans.\nCollaborate with Project Managers, engineers, programmers, design teams, vendors, and customers on technical requirements and project priorities.\nLead technical discussions and design reviews regarding system functionality, user experience, architecture, and integration requirements.\nEnsure SCADA deliverables meet Divcon standards, client specifications, documentation requirements, and quality expectations.\nKnowledge Management & Continuous Improvement\nDevelop and maintain reusable templates, graphics libraries, technical procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training resources.\nDocument technical solutions, lessons learned, and best practices for team reference.\nDrive continuous improvement of SCADA engineering standards, tools, workflows, and development methodologies.\nStay current on Ignition platform enhancements, emerging SCADA technologies, and industrial control system cybersecurity principles.\nContribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical documentation across the SCADA engineering team.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Controls, Human-Computer Interaction, or related technical field preferred;
