This role fabricates panels from electrical schematics and work instructions, including component layout, mechanical mounting, wiring/termination, and functional verification. In addition to meeting daily production requirements, the Wiring Technician may assist with basic facility and shop upkeep tasks as needed.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild, assemble, and wire control panels using technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions\nPerform panel layout, component mounting, and wiring/termination to meet project specifications\nProduce high-quality UL508 control panels for commercial and mission-critical applications\nTest completed panels to verify proper function and identify wiring/component issues\nTroubleshoot and correct wiring errors, component malfunctions, and build discrepancies\nFollow all safety standards and ensure safe work practices throughout the assembly process\nIdentify and communicate issues or discrepancies with schematics, tools, parts, or equipment to the Panel Shop Lead\nMonitor stock levels of panel shop consumables and notify the Panel Shop Lead when materials are low\nManufacture subassemblies and prepare cut or pre-made materials as required for production\nSupport general shop and facility needs, including light maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing lights, moving furniture/equipment)\nMaintain a clean and safe workspace through daily cleanup and proper disposal of trash and materials\nQualifications:\n2+ years of experience in control panel assembly or wiring\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams\nStrong working knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and panel shop best practices\nProficiency using common assembly tools, including hand drills, termination screwdrivers, wire cutters, and other hand tools\nAbility to troubleshoot independently and resolve issues with minimal supervision\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment\nStrong time management, organization, and attention to detail\nCommitment to quality, safety, and workmanship standards\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand and work on the shop floor for extended periods\nAbility to use hand tools repetitively and safely\nAbility to lift and move materials and equipment up to 60 - 100 lbs (with assistance when needed)\nAbility to bend, kneel, reach, and work in panel enclosures and tight spaces\nAbility to distinguish wire colors and read printed labels/schematics\nWork Environment:\nManufacturing/panel shop environment with exposure to noise, tools, wiring equipment, and electrical components\nUse of PPE may be required depending on task and work area\nWork may involve occasional coordination with warehouse or jobsite-related staging activities\nBenefits & Total Rewards:\nOpportunities for Growth\nHands-on training and career advancement in an exploding data-center industry.\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nWe cover 100% of individual medical premiums and help offset the cost of family coverage.\n401K with Employer Match\nEligible after 90 days, with company matching to help you invest in your future.\nDisability Coverage\nBoth short- and long-term disability insurance provided at no cost to our employees.\nFlexible PTO\nTake time off when you need it, no accruing time necessary.\nField-Based Employee Benefits\nFor eligible field-based roles that require travel, Divcon covers all business travel expenses and provides a per diem, phone allowance, tools, and PPE at no cost.
