This role centralizes product ownership, aligns software roadmap with real user needs, and drives adoption and efficiency for the Divergent IPT organization. \nThe Role\nManage and prioritize incoming DES requests and stakeholder demands \nAlign DES software roadmap with user needs, technical constraints, and strategic objectives \nCreate, curate, and maintain documentation, training, and evangelization materials for current DES products \nSynthesize disparate voices of the user base with the voices of their managers to inform roadmap and release decisions \nOwn outward release communication and adoption strategy \nWork with PIPT, DES developers, and cross-functional partners to eliminate fragmented product-management overhead \nProtect developer focus by owning product, documentation, and communication responsibilities \nBasic Qualifications\nAbility to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls \nMaster's or bachelor's in mechanical engineering \n10+ years as product manager for CAE tools as a product manager for CAE, engineering software, or interactive desktop applications \nProven ability to manage software roadmaps in complex, multi-stakeholder technical environments \nStrong written and verbal communication across users, managers, and cross-functional partners \nExperience creating and curating documentation, training programs, and user-evangelization content \nAbility to work in an export-controlled / US EAR environment (if applicable). \nPreferred Qualifications\nBackground in computational design, desktop CAE, PLM, or additive-manufacturing software (Siemens NX / Teamcenter familiarity preferred)\nExperience with laser powder-bed fusion or similar production systems\nTrack record driving adoption and reducing developer interruption in engineering organizations \nWork Environment\nOnsite\nCompensation\nAt Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job.
