If you're looking to grow your career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk!\nPosition Overview\nThe Electrical Test Technician works hands-on in a Power Electronics Lab, partnering with Test Engineers to execute testing on electrification components, from small internal components such as PCBs and current sensors to full power inverters and DC-DC converters. This role helps ensure components are ready for machine builds and, ultimately, production. Training is provided.\n Key Responsibilities\nPlan, set up, instrument, run, tear down, and document tests, and share results with the engineering team\nPerform low voltage (24V) and high voltage (50V-4,000V) testing\nServe as the required second person present during all testing above 50V\nCoordinate and monitor environmental testing, including thermal cycling and vibration\nManage parts and material acquisition, along with shipping and material flow throughout the lab areas\nMaintain lab safety and housekeeping in coordination with the work director\nCollaborate with Test Engineers on setup and data collection, Validation Engineers on test planning, and Design Engineers on product updates\nWork with facility, calibration, and other support personnel as needed\n100% onsite in a Power Electronics Lab in Mossville, IL\nWorkstation is located inside the lab, where all test work is performed\nPersonal protective equipment (PPE) required\nRequirements\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nAssociate's degree with 5-7 years of combined academic or industry experience OR\nBachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience OR\nMaster's degree with 1+ year of experience OR\nHigh school diploma with post-high school on-the-job training and 9+ years of experience\nRequired Technical Skills\nSafe, knowledgeable, and proficient use of hand and power tools\nExperience with electrical harnesses and fluid connections\nExperience with electric drive systems and/or components\nProduct development experience in test setup, testing, or instrumentation\nExcellent electrical and mechanical aptitude\nAbility to operate overhead cranes and forklifts\nAbility to follow build and update instructions to complete tasks\nGeneral computer proficiency\nPreferred Technical Skills\nPrevious high voltage testing experience\nExperience with Safe Job Procedures and Standard Test Procedures\nExperience with Product Development / New Product Introduction (NPI) processes\nSoft Skills\nChampion of safety in all test work\nStrong communication skills\nSelf-starter who can manage multiple tests at once across different stages\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams\nSolid organizational and facilitation skills\nBenefits\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nVision Insurance\nDisability insurance\nEmployee assistance program\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nPaid Holidays\nPlease follow the link to our website for a list of job openings in Engineering, IT, Project Management, and more!
