If you're looking to grow your career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk!\n\nPosition Overview\nThis onsite role supports the Electrification Verification/HIL team within the Advanced Power Technologies group, which verifies and validates embedded controls and software for electrification programs across a range of heavy machine and stationary power applications. The engineer will help build and use hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation capabilities that catch software and controls issues earlier in the development cycle and expand regression-test coverage. Beyondtest execution, the role offers hands-on involvement in HIL design and build, plant modeling, and new feature development.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain real-time electrification plant models in MATLAB/Simulink for HIL simulation.\nConfigure, operate, and maintain dSPACE and OPAL-RT HIL benches, including hardware, harnesses, models, and configurations.\nSupport commissioning of HIL benches for new applications.\nDevelop requirements-based HIL test plans and test cases from software and system requirements.\nBuild and maintain automated regression tests using Python or similar scripting/programming tools.\nExecute software release and regression testing using both automated and manual methods.\nReview test results, investigate failures, document defects, and support root-cause analysis.\nPartner directly with controls and software engineers to reproduce issues, validate new features, and verify fixes in support of software releases and new program development.\nSupport CAN/J1939 communications, diagnostics, fault injection, and ECU integration testing, using CAN tools and diagnostic data to troubleshoot embedded software and system behavior.\nMaintain test traceability and test-result documentation.\nImprove verification efficiency through reusable test automation and standardized HIL processes.\nRequirements\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience, required OR\nMaster's degree graduates coming directly out of school will also be considered.\nProficiency with MATLAB/Simulink.\nExperience with at least one programming language (C, Python, etc.).\nStrong ability and willingness to learn new HIL hardware, software tools, machine applications, and control systems.\nBenefits\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nVision Insurance\nDisability insurance\nEmployee assistance program\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nPaid Holidays\nPlease follow the link to our website for a list of job openings in Engineering, IT, Project Management, and more!
