If you're looking to grow your career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk!\n\n Position Overview\nThe Manufacturing Engineer maintains and improves the processes, tooling, and systems used in product manufacturing, working both independently and as part of a 30-person team of engineers, senior manufacturing support, and engineering team leads. This role partners closely with assembly operations, quality, logistics, and supply chain, and splits time evenly between the office and the assembly manufacturing floor (approximately 50/50). It is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform technical analysis of manufacturing processes to support management decisions.\nDesign and direct the acquisition, fabrication, and repair of all necessary tooling and machines.\nTroubleshoot day-to-day process issues, develop solutions, and monitor improvements.\nMonitor all exchange and in-house requirements.\nProcure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers.\nPerform quality checks on machines.\nAnalyze and deploy engineering change notices.\nEstablish and maintain bills of material and work orders.\nRespond to customer issues and lead process improvements.\nProvide day-to-day coaching in the absence of the team leader.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in engineering and 0-2 years of experience.\nManufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies, and processes, with the ability to plan, execute, manage, and monitor the entire manufacturing process.\nDecision Making & Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment, using sound decision-making tools and techniques.\nLean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean philosophy, principles, and implementation approaches, with the ability to integrate them into existing production and management processes.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nShop floor manufacturing engineering experience, such as cycle time reduction, work rebalancing, and tooling corrections.\nExperience with AutoCAD or similar 3D modeling software.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings.\nExperience creating and maintaining routings in ERP systems.\nExperience conducting time studies.\nExperience identifying and developing solutions to Safety, Quality, Velocity, and Cost issues on the shop floor.\n\nSoft Skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships and collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain at all levels of the organization.\nSelf-starter with strong initiative and accountability.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong organizational and project management skills.\nAbility to influence stakeholders and drive projects to completion without direct authority.\nAdaptability and willingness to support changing business needs.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.\nBenefits\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nVision Insurance\nDisability insurance\nEmployee assistance program\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nPaid Holidays\nPlease follow the link to our website for a list of job openings in Engineering, IT, Project Management, and more!
