If you're looking to grow your career within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company - let's talk!\n\nPosition Overview\nThe Technical Product Owner partners closely with the Scrum Team to maximize the value of the product and the work of the Development Team. This role owns the product vision and Product Backlog for larger, more complex, high-value projects, ensuring everyone understands priorities and helping the team meet the objectives of each sprint.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine the product vision and communicate it, along with sprint goals, to the team at the start of every sprint\nCreate, maintain, and prioritize the Product Backlog according to business value for the life of the project\nServe as the key decision-maker on product features, release dates, and release content\nCollaborate with Lead Engineers to decompose epics and features into user stories granular enough to complete in a single sprint\nNegotiate business requirements and timelines with Product and development teams\nLead the Daily Scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and sprint demos\nInspect product progress at the end of each sprint and accept or reject completed work\nManage and prioritize defects\nRepresent the customer and engage with stakeholders throughout the organization, acting as the voice of the team when communicating status externally\nModel Scrum values, understand the framework and each team member's role, and champion the growth of the agile community within the organization\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's and/or Master's degree\n8-10 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or in a comparable role\nBusiness Analysis: Ability to identify business needs and recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders\nDecision Making & Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment\nEffective Communication: Ability to clearly transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs\nSoftware Engineering: Ability to deliver new or enhanced fee-based software products\nSoftware Product Business Knowledge: Experience with the business aspects of a software product, including install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading or working with a technical team while managing multiple projects simultaneously\nProven software development experience, including Java 17 or newer, RESTful APIs, databases, and AWS cloud development, with a focus on designing and developing cloud-native solutions at scale\nExperience managing product backlogs in Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Mingle, VSTS, Team Services, or Rally\nExperience working within an onshore/offshore team model\nExperience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft 365 Copilot\nBenefits\n401(k)\nDental insurance\nVision Insurance\nDisability insurance\nEmployee assistance program\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nPaid Holidays\nPlease follow the link to our website for a list of job openings in Engineering, IT, Project Management, and more!
