The Fulton also offers classes for children, teens and adults as well as numerous community engagement programs across the region.\nJob Summary\nThe Bartender delivers fast, friendly, and high-volume drink service to theatergoers before curtain call, during 15- to 20-minute intermissions, and occasionally for post show receptions and Corporate Sponsor events. This position requires exceptional speed under pressure, strict compliance with alcohol laws, and a hospitable attitude that contributes to an outstanding night at the theater.\nThis is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt tipped position.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities Include\nPrepare and pour a streamlined menu of craft beers, wines, signature themed cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons.\nPre-batch signature drinks, prep garnishes, and set up plastic service ware ahead of peak serving times.\nTake intermission pre-orders to reduce line bottlenecks.\nFollow house liquor policies (no doubles, no shots)\nDiligently check government-issued photo identification to verify patrons meet the legal drinking age before serving alcoholic beverages.\nComply strictly with PA/local liquor laws and company responsible beverage service guidelines\nUse Point of Sale system to efficiently ring up customer purchases of beverages and snacks, providing proper receipt delivery and accurate change calculation during peak rush windows.\nReconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift, accounting for and splitting tips per company policy.\nMaintain cleanliness, sanitization, and organization of the bar, beverage stations and preparation areas before, during, and after intermissions.\nMonitor inventory and track stock levels; report needs to the bar manager.\nQualifications and Skills\nMinimum 1-2 years of bartending experience, preferably in high-volume, event-driven environments.\nAbility to obtain or possess an active RAMP Server/Seller Training certification (Responsible Alcohol Management Program)\nExperience working with point-of-sales systems, such as Square\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nMust be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends aligned with our performance schedule.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours)\nFrequent bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting boxes up to 50 pounds\nAbility to work comfortably in a lively, moderately loud environment during pre-show and intermission rushes.\nNote: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
