Second City Works, the B2B side of Second City, has brought award-winning improvisation and audience-driven techniques to over 600 Fortune 1000 companies, challenging businesses seeking a more collaborative culture to innovate through development programs, original digital and video content, campaign consultation, private events, and more. \nFor additional information on The Second City please visit: www.secondcity.com. \nPosition Summary\nThe Multimedia Support Specialist will work with The Second City’s Creative Services Art & Video team to assist in the development, production, and delivery of all print and digital marketing materials as well as help manage various video libraries for projects both internal and external/client facing. The Second City’s Creative Services Department services the entire company, creating design and video assets for Resident Stages, Touring Company, Training Center and Second City Works across the company’s main locations in Chicago and Toronto. \nRole Responsibilities\nThis role will consist of 75% graphic design work, 25% motion graphics/video editing/asset management. Serious applicants should include a link to their portfolio work in their resumes. \nCreative Content Support duties: \nAssist in creative concepting and pitching. \nAsset digging (sourcing fonts, stock photos/videos, textures, icons, etc.) \nFormatting files for animation and print. \nResizing designs for various digital and print platforms. \nResizing animations and videos for digital platforms. \nFinalizing designs for print (adding bleed, color coding, resolution, check, etc.) \nAssist Second City’s Video Producer with creation of archive video clips and various video uploads to YouTube.\nAsset Management Support duties: \nOverseeing and maintaining the organization of video content on both internal and client facing platforms while managing the upload of various video assets. \nManage user accounts and create login credentials for both internal staff and external clients across various platforms; troubleshoot access-related issues and provide support when needed. \nPreform regular audits of Second City’s various video libraries to identify broken video links or outdated content. \nAssist with uploading and maintaining content on our in-house digital signage. \nCreative Content Support duties: \nAssist in creative concepting and pitching. \nAsset digging (sourcing fonts, stock photos/videos, textures, icons, etc.) \nFormatting files for animation and print. \nResizing designs for various digital and print platforms. \nResizing animations and videos for digital platforms. \nFinalizing designs for print (adding bleed, color coding, resolution, check, etc.) \nAssist Second City’s Video Producer with creation of archive video clips and various video uploads to YouTube.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Media, Production, Design or related field; or 1+ year of equivalent work experience. \nA strong knowledge and experience in working with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) \nExperience in animation and video editing is a plus (After Effects, Premiere Pro) \nAbility to work independently and manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. \nCore Values\nThe Second City is invested in evaluating candidate alignment with the requirements of the role and desired qualifications, as well as with our core values.
