This is a part-time role, reporting to the Artistic Director of The Second City NY Training Center. Shifts will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6-10pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 7pm.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nOversee logistical, administrative, and communication needs for the Training Center, including but not limited to:\nOperations and Management –\nMaintain the upkeep of the Training Center facility including appropriate classroom set-up, cleanup and wayfinding\nOrder and manage inventory of classroom supplies and class program graduation materials & food\nCreate term rosters using enrollment information from student registration system\nUpkeep teacher substitution coverage with notification to payroll\nProvide support for student activities & Training Center led events\nProvide on-site support to faculty including prints, technical assistance, and student issues\nSchedule class shows, student events, and Music Director visits including communications to instructors, website buildouts, and payroll\nSupport Youth & Teen Programming, including Summer Camps & intensives\nSupport the facilitations of auditions, in-class demos, and camp events\nCommunications –\nManage & support the Deliverables and Second City NY Training Center inboxes\nSend new term welcome emails to students\nCompile information for student events, performances, and auditions\nGeneral –\nAttend Training Center & All Staff Meetings\nMaintain confidentiality concerning students & faculty medical and behavioral needs\nEnsure that safety procedures are followed and that all programs are in compliance with The Second City standards, all relevant regulations and other applicable standards\nWork with the Training Center production team & the Artistic Director of the Training Center\nSecondary Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nCover Front Desk and serve as emergency Box Office coverage\nProvide emergency Company Management and production coverage for Second City Mainstage productions in limited circumstances when Company Management staff is not available\nAssist in the management of the studio rental / New York Spaces email\nMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service\nThe ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, loud environment\nComplete a background check meeting Second City standards\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
