This immersive 6-8-week summer internship provides rising college seniors with hands-on exposure to the residential flooring industry, sales process, and business operations.\nAt Shaw, we believe in developing talent through real-world experience. Interns will spend time at our Corporate Headquarters in Dalton, Georgia, participating in onboarding, product training, professional development, and selling skills development. Throughout the program, interns will also travel to markets across the United States to shadow Territory Managers, engage with customers, and gain firsthand experience in residential sales.\nThe internship is designed to provide exposure to multiple aspects of our business, including sales, operations, customer relationships, and product knowledge. Interns will develop an understanding of how these functions work together to deliver value to customers while gaining insight into Shaw's culture, business strategy, and career opportunities.\nThis program offers a unique opportunity to build professional skills, explore career interests, and gain meaningful business experience that complements classroom learning.\nResponsibilities\nTravel with Territory Managers and other sales leaders in the market\nGain knowledge of Shaw's residential flooring products, including carpet and hard surface solutions\nParticipate in customer visits, sales meetings, and relationship-building activities with retail partners and distributors\nNetwork with Shaw associates across multiple business functions\nAssist with product displays and product knowledge sessions\nDevelop an understanding of the residential sales process and customer lifecycle\nLearn how sales, operations, marketing, and customer service work together to support business growth\nGain exposure to territory planning, account management, and business development strategies\nQualifications\nRising college senior pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field\nStrong work ethic and willingness to learn\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nDemonstrated leadership, initiative, and professionalism\nInterest in
