The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay.\nThis position requires an active Professional Engineer (PE) license. The ideal candidate will be in a leadership role and be responsible for HVAC technical quality, team growth, sales and marketing, and overall department development. This position will also interact heavily with our clients and requires strong written and oral communication skills. This is a great leadership and career growth opportunity to build a team and develop design standards.\nIf you're looking for a challenging position with a variety of projects, clients to work with, and a potential for growth, then this may be just the right fit for you!\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nContribute to a variety of HVAC and plumbing system design projects.\nWork with multi-disciplinary staff in designing and implementing mechanical systems in new or existing buildings.\nDirectly interface with clients, vendors, and contractors to design and construct\nPerform comprehensive HVAC system analysis, including load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization.\nFollow the local building design and energy codes and standards. As well as interface with the local permitting office.\nSurvey mechanical systems, equipment, and building conditions.\nSpecify equipment requirements.\nPrepare construction documents, including drawings, technical reports, and specifications\nMaintains positive client relations and develops potential work opportunities.\nSupervises and directs assigned project personnel, including delegation of work and mentoring.\nAdheres to the policies and procedures of the Quality System and/or discipline standards.\nWork with project managers to create proposals, as well as adhere to budgets and schedules.\nWorks in a safe manner at all times.
