The Warehouse Coordinator is a key role for our business. In this position, you will be responsible for tracking warehouse inventory and ensuring products are shipped out properly. On a daily basis, you will review the orders that need to be filled, designate staff to pull products from the shelves, prepare orders for distribution, and check to make sure the orders are completed accurately and on time. You also will ensure that inventory records are up-to-date and that employees follow all safety guidelines and procedures throughout the warehouse.\n Here’s what we are looking for…\nLoad and unload trucks\nAssist customers picking up orders at will call\nMeasure and cut rolled material as need per pick ticket\nTag, organize and put away inbound materials\nPick, condense and stage outbound materials per pick ticket\nSetup UPS shipments including picking and packing items and shipping material using special hazmat requirements if necessary. (UPS training needed for hazmat)\nCommunicate and collaborate with PM’s about ongoing orders\nComplete inventory cycle counts 2-3 times per year\nCreate and print labels and bill of ladings for outbound shipments\nFulfill pick tickets within our software IFS to keep inventory accurate\nAnd you would have the following…\nMust have a high school diploma/GED\n3+ years of warehouse distribution experience, preferably in a managerial role\nFamiliarity with Six Sigma and lean management principles is a plus\nKnowledge of bulk packing and warehouse pick and pack procedures\nProficient in Microsoft Office\nDemonstrated knowledge of the products in the floor covering industry\n And demonstrate the following competencies…\nPlanning & Organizing\nSafety Focus\nOperating Equipment\nMathematical Reasoning\nProblem-Solving\nEthics & Integrity\nListening, Reading & Writing\nCustomer Focus\nIs this you?
