In this role, you’ll build and test essential mechanical assemblies, prep components for our welding team, and help ensure our products meet high quality standards before shipping out. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.\nWhat You'll Do:\nBuild and functionally test mechanical assemblies-including Test Pumps, Air Tank Manifolds, Swivel Joints, and Loading Arms-to exact engineering drawings and shop specifications.\nSandblast, polish, and prepare metal components and piping for the welding team.\nApply paint and protective coatings to critical production components.\nConstruct custom wooden shipping crates for safe packaging and transit of finished goods as needed.\nRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production prints while supporting cross-functional plant projects and team needs.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.\nProven hands-on experience in production assembly, fabrication, or mechanical work is preferred.\nBasic computer skills for shop tracking are a plus.\nStrong hands-on mechanical ability with experience operating standard hand and power tools.\nAbility to follow shop orders, mechanical schematics, and production specifications accurately.\nPride in quality craftsmanship and strict adherence to safety and process standards.Note: Steel-toe shoes are required for this position.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family\nCompetitive salary\nBonus programs\n401K retirement plan\nTraining opportunities\nTuition reimbursement\nPaid vacation, PTO, and holidays\nGym reimbursements, and more!\nWho We Are: The Dixon Group is a global, family-owned manufacturing company with a history of over 100 years of operation in the U.S.A.
