In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team of engineers and technicians, driving the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and technologies. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead, mentor, and empower a team of engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence and foster continuous professional growth.\nOversee the planning, execution, and resource allocation of manufacturing engineering projects and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) budgets to align with business objectives.\nDevelop and execute engineering strategies, introduce modern equipment, and optimize production systems and CNC programs to improve manufacturing productivity and maintain standard work practices.\nManage tool design standards, including released engineering drawings, tool databases, and reorder points.\nPartner closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Process/Product Engineering, and Quality teams to establish product quality specifications and implement continuous process improvements.\nTrack and analyze key manufacturing performance metrics to make data-driven adjustments that enhance output and operational efficiency.\nStay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies-including advanced machining, automation, and data collection-to drive innovative manufacturing practices.\nEnsure all engineering activities and shop floor implementations adhere to strict safety regulations, quality standards, and company guidelines.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or a related field).\nMinimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive engineering experience within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.\nProven track record of successfully leading, motivating, and developing engineering teams.\nStrong background in process improvement frameworks such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.\nDeep understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and tooling standards.\nAbility to interpret complex datasets and make data-driven decisions under pressure.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departmental boundaries.\nAn innovative, detail-oriented leader who inspires teams, fosters collaboration, and demonstrates an entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset.\nWhat We Offer:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family\nCompetitive salary\nBonus programs\n401K retirement plan\nTraining opportunities\nTuition reimbursement\nPaid vacation, PTO, and holidays\nGym reimbursements, and more!\nWho We Are: The Dixon Group is a global, family-owned manufacturing company with a history of over 100 years of operation in the U.S.A.
