In this role, you will be responsible for in-process audits in production, inspecting and approving incoming materials, and managing calibration of gauges. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.\nWhat You'll Do:\nDevelops incoming and in process inspection plans\nCreates inspection reports and initiates a material review board (MRB) if parts are not in compliance with drawing\nSupports engineering by designing and producing test and inspection fixtures\nReceives incoming product and ensures product compliance and integrity\nIs involved in investigations and corrective actions for defects and customer complaints\nInitiates cost reduction activities to minimize waste, scrap, and rework, which will directly reduce the business unit's cost of poor quality (COPQ)\nContinual improvement agent for the business\nMaintain and manage quality control instruments and testing equipment\nEnsure compliance with the QMS by providing training and conducting audits\nUse the DDS (ERP System) to receive and document inventory\nInspect products using CMM, Vision System, Calipers, Micrometers and other equipment as needed\nPerform statistical analysis studies on parts for incoming and PPAP needs\nHelp develop the QA team into a world class department\nDevelop and maintain adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures\nPerform internal and external quality audits.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nAssociates Degree, technical certification or equivalent manufacturing quality experience may be considered\nMinimum of 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment\nCAD software certificate such as; CSWA (SOLIDWORKS CAD Design Associate Certificate) or CSWP (SOLIDWORKS CAD Design Professional Certificate)\nStrong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications using GD&T standards\nHands-on mechanical aptitude for fitting and assembling parts for functional testing\nProficient in software tools including Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, CAM, and PDM systems\nAbility to adapt to new platforms as needed\nAbility to use a CMM, Visions system and all other measurement tools\nWhat We Offer:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family\nCompetitive salary\nBonus programs\n401K retirement plan\nTraining opportunities\nTuition reimbursement\nPaid vacation, PTO, and holidays\nGym reimbursements, and more! \nWho We Are: The Dixon Group is a global, family-owned manufacturing company with a history of over 100 years of operation in the U.S.A.
