Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced Instrument & Control (I&C) Engineer to support an FLNG project during engineering, construction, and commissioning activities at the yard.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating instrumentation and control engineering documentation, ensuring consistency between field instruments and control systems, and supporting the implementation and documentation of modifications and commissioning activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview and coordinate Instrument & Control engineering documentation.\n\nMaintain and update the project I/O List throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nReview signals to and from Vendor Packages and ensure correct integration with the project control system.\n\nVerify consistency and connectivity between:\nField instruments\n\nJunction Boxes (JB)\n\nMulticore cables\n\nMarshalling cabinets\n\nICSS\n\nCoordinate with Engineering Contractors, vendors, construction teams, and other disciplines.\n\nIdentify and resolve discrepancies between engineering documentation and field installation.\n\nDefine and follow up on the retagging of existing facilities and ensure associated engineering documentation is updated accordingly.\n\nSupport field engineering activities, inspections, walkdowns, testing, and commissioning.\n\nParticipate in technical meetings and coordinate the resolution of field and engineering issues.\n\nReview technical documentation, drawings, datasheets, instrument lists, cable schedules, and related deliverables.\n\nEnsure that engineering activities comply with applicable project specifications, codes, and standards.\n\nSupport commissioning and start-up activities related to instrumentation and control systems.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.\n\nPrevious experience on a major offshore, FPSO, FLNG, LNG, or equivalent project.\n\nExperience working through construction at a yard up to commissioning activities.\n\nStrong experience with:\nProject I/O Lists\n\nInstrumentation and control signals\n\nVendor Package interfaces\n\nJunction Boxes\n\nMulticore cables\n\nMarshalling cabinets\n\nICSS\n\nAbility to coordinate and follow up on instrument retagging and associated documentation updates.\n\nExperience working with Engineering Contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.\n\nGood understanding of instrumentation and control systems in an offshore/industrial environment.\n\nTechnical Knowledge\nFamiliarity with applicable IEC standards/codes.\n\nKnowledge of relevant marine specifications and requirements.\n\nUnderstanding of instrument installation, cabling, signal transmission, and control system interfaces.\n\nExperience with field engineering and commissioning activities.\n\nAvailability\nCandidates who are available to join at short notice are preferred.\n\nCandidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.\n\nWillingness to work at the project yard and support construction and commissioning activities is
