All roles at DJSIR can be worked flexibly and we offer reasonable adjustments for applicants with disabilities.\nSalesforce Developer - 3 x Positions \n\nSalary: $116,413 - $140,849 (Plus superannuation)\n\nFixed-term positions for 12 months\n\nUsual hours of work: Full-time ((flexibility may be available)\n\nUsual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (flexibility may be available)\n\nThe Role\n\nThe Salesforce Developer will deliver enhancements in an Agile environment across the department's multiple Salesforce instances. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for Salesforce technical development and solution design, integrations with other platforms, delivery, and release management. The role provides strategy recommendations for Salesforce development, including technology approaches, security, apps, and third-party tools that deliver best practice outcomes.\n\nThis role comes with an expectation that Salesforce certification and Trailhead badges will be obtained within 12 months of commencing and this will be supported by the department. \n\nDemonstrated experience in Salesforce development, including configuration and customization. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team of business analysts, support staff and Salesforce developers. The team is responsible for supporting the department's multiple Salesforce instances and approximately 2500 users.\n\nKey accountabilities include:\n\nParticipation in all Agile ceremonies including planning, sizing, and daily standups for all development tasks. This will include usage of Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket, Illuminated Cloud, Jenkins and Agile development toolsets.\n\nAnalysis and review of business requirements, definition, and delivery of technical coding strategies. This will include development of Lightning UIs and components on the Salesforce platform.\n\nContribute to design, development and support of integrations between platforms (e.g. Office 365, Oracle and Salesforce) that deliver best practice outcomes.\n\nImplementation of requirements in the development environment, including solution and functional architecture, testing and deployment steps into production.\n\nMange code repositories and test classes as required under the department's continuous integration processes, including the use of Bitbucket and Jenkins.\n\nThe Team\n\nThe position of Salesforce Developer will work within Information Services / Strategic Platforms branch which sits within Corporate Services Group.\n\nThe Corporate Services group consists of specialist functions including finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management. These functions enable the department to operate efficiently and effectively and support the Secretary and Ministers to meet legislative obligations and responsibilities whilst actively supporting the department's portfolio groups and Ministers to create the conditions for growing Victoria's prosperity, building the productive capacity of our economy, and increasing participation. \n\nAbout You\n\nTo be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:\n\nDemonstrated expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud technical development and solution design, including configuration and customization, preferably in a support or Agile development environment using Visualforce, Apex, Aura Components, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript and JQuery.\n\nAbility to provide strategy recommendations for development, including provision of recommendations on technology approaches, security, apps and third-party tools that deliver best practice outcomes.\n\nDemonstrated experience in managing changes through different developme\nnt environments, in compliance with organizational change management policies and processes.\n\nCapability in technical delivery and release management from solution and functional architecture deliverables, through the full SDLC including usage of Source Control tools (e.g. Bitbucket, Git) and test strategies.\n\nFurther Information\n\nFor a confidential discussion, please Kasun Perera, Salesforce Development Lead via email [email protected]\n\nThe department is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe organisation.
