At Arvato, we're looking for a proactive, commercially minded Associate HR Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in delivering HR projects and people initiatives across our UK operations.

Based primarily at our Slough site, with regular travel to Corby and Birmingham, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working beyond day-to-day HR activities and wants to make a broader impact on business performance and organisational development.

What Will You Be Doing?

As our Associate HR Business Partner, you'll work closely with HR colleagues, operational leaders and key stakeholders to deliver people-related projects that support business growth, transformation and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • HR Project Delivery: Leading and supporting a variety of HR projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively, on time and aligned with business objectives.

  • Organisational Change: Supporting business transformation programmes, restructures and organisational change initiatives, ensuring effective planning, communication and implementation.

  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, policies and ways of working, helping to create greater efficiency and consistency across sites.

  • People Strategy: Working with HR leadership to translate business priorities into practical people initiatives that support operational performance.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with operational managers and senior leaders, providing guidance and influencing the successful delivery of people-related projects.

  • Employee Engagement: Developing and supporting initiatives that improve employee experience, engagement, retention and workplace culture.

  • Workforce Planning: Contributing to projects focused on workforce planning, organisational structures, talent development and succession planning.

  • HR Data & Reporting: Using people data, workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities, measure project success and support informed decision-making.

  • Cross-Site Collaboration: Working collaboratively with teams across Slough, Corby and Birmingham to ensure consistent and effective implementation of HR initiatives.

What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for an HR professional who combines strong technical HR knowledge with excellent project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor, HR Project Specialist or HR Business Partner role, with significant involvement in HR projects and change initiatives.

  • Demonstrable experience delivering HR projects, organisational change or business improvement initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, particularly in relation to TUPE and organisational change.

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and influencing managers and senior leaders.

  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused and commercially aware approach.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with colleagues at all levels.

  • Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between sites.

It would also be advantageous to have:

  • Experience delivering HR projects within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or another operational environment.

  • Experience supporting business transformation, mobilisation or integration projects.

  • Experience working across multiple sites or within a complex organisational structure.

At Arvato, we believe our people are key to our success. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, collaborative working environment where everyone has the opportunity to make a difference.

This temporary opportunity is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable leadership experience, develop their operational skills and play an important role during one of our busiest periods of the year.

  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays with the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days
  • Pension contribution
  • A life assurance policy that pays out 4 x Salary
