Working at Arvato means: Together, we’re on it.\n The Maintenance Technician supports operations at Arvato’s Nazareth distribution center, serving the fashion and apparel industry. This role is responsible for maintaining warehouse and production equipment to ensure reliable operation, continuous product flow, and minimal operational downtime.\nThis position works directly with conveyor systems, Veit tunnels, pony machines, Polypack equipment, and supporting boiler and steam systems. The technician will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with operations and the maintenance team to restore productivity on the floor.\nYOUR TASKS\nTroubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, motors, and drives\nMaintain Veit tunnels, pony machines, Polypack equipment, and other warehouse machinery\nService supporting boiler and steam equipment according to established procedures\nDiagnose sensor, photo-eye, pneumatic, and basic control system faults\nPerform preventive maintenance and inspections on warehouse and production equipment\nRespond to equipment stoppages and restore production flow quickly\nRead electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to identify failures\nReplace components including belts, rollers, bearings, motors, and pneumatic parts\nDocument repairs, parts usage, troubleshooting findings, and downtime causes in the maintenance management system\nIdentify recurring failures and recommend reliability improvements\nCommunicate equipment status, repair priorities, and spare-parts needs to maintenance and operations\nWork independently and collaborate with technicians, operations, vendors, and equipment specialists\nFollow lockout/tagout and all site safety procedures\nSchedule Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM\n Technical or technological degree in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field OR equivalent hands-on industrial maintenance experience\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or specialized equipment maintenance; warehouse, production, or automated equipment experience preferred\nWorking knowledge of electromechanical and pneumatic systems\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical equipment\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams\nFamiliarity with motors, sensors/photo-eyes, conveyors, and industrial equipment\nExperience with boilers, steam systems, Veit equipment, pony machines, or packaging machinery preferred\nBasic PLC troubleshooting knowledge preferred\nAbility to use computers for email, Microsoft Office applications, maintenance records, technical manuals, and work orders\nExperience using diagnostic tools and maintenance software; CMMS experience preferred\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team\nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize urgent maintenance needs\nProactive, solution-oriented approach and commitment to continuous improvement\nAvailability for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs as needed in an operating warehouse environment\nBilingual proficiency in Spanish is required\nMedical and Life insurance.\nPaid Time Off, including paid holidays.\nVoluntary benefits such as Dental, Vision, and Gap insurance, short-term disability, paid family leave, accident insurance, critical illness and cancer insurance. \nDisclosure requirements pertaining to the collection of your personal data:\nResponsible for processing the information provided in your application is the company specified in the job advertisement, with its registered office as indicated.
