You have hands-on experience building and integrating REST APIs, working with SQL databases and making sound decisions about data structures and database design. GraphQL is a plus.\n\nCare about code quality. You consider architecture, performance, scalability and maintainability, spot edge cases and take testing seriously. Hands-on experience with Jest, Vitest or Node.js testing is essential.\n\nThink beyond the code and take ownership. You understand the problem you're solving, can explain your technical decisions and work independently to find the right solution. Experience with AI-first interfaces, agent workflows or natural-language products is a plus.\n\nBonus: AWS, Jenkins, Grafana, Graylog, Confluence, Jira or shell scripting.\n What to expect at smartclip\nRemote-first, with meaningful time together: We work remotely most of the time, with occasional workshops, team sessions and opportunities to collaborate in person at our tech office in Berlin.
