This role drives the resolution of complex accounting matters, oversees key financial close and audit deliverables, and supports major finance initiatives to maintain high standards of financial integrity and governance.\nWhat You Will Deliver\nOversee day-to-day financial accounting activities, ensuring all postings are accurate, timely, compliant with accounting standards, and supported by robust internal controls\nContinuously review and enhance accounting processes to uphold high data integrity and operational efficiency across assigned Business Units\nOversee the finance operations of assigned Business Units to ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance\nLead the resolution of complex accounting matters by coordinating across key stakeholders including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams, Finance Business Partnering (FBP), and relevant operational units, ensuring issues are investigated, escalated where needed, and resolved in a timely and compliant manner\nReview balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, proper documentation, and adherence to corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements\nReview, validate, and submit monthly hard close and annual year-end close reporting packages, ensuring all deliverables meet group timelines, accounting standards, and audit expectations\nManage end-to-end financial accounting and reporting processes, including preparation of management accounts, review of journal entries, maintenance of master data governance, development of draft financial statements, and coordination of statutory audits\nProvide leadership and support to ensure timely closure of audit queries and full compliance with regulatory requirements\nSupport mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, system upgrades, or migration exercises, ensuring smooth integration into existing accounting processes, accurate financial impact assessment, and proper documentation\nTake initiative to independently drive key accounting, finance, and project management topics, providing guidance and support to the team where needed\nDemonstrate a commitment to continuous self-learning to enhance capabilities in accounting, finance, and project management\nWhat You Bring\nDegree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Degree in Business Studies is an added advantage\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to country controlling, audit, accounting, or compliance functions\nSolid knowledge of finance and accounting processes, IT systems, contract management, and a sound understanding of the business and industry\nPractical application of local and international accounting standards and principles across financial activities\nExperience working in an SAP accounting environment is an added advantage\nStrong research and analytical abilities, including statistical analysis and interpretation of financial data\nStrong interest and competency in technology and systems that enhance internal control effectiveness and efficiency\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nWhy Join DKSH\nAt DKSH, we help companies grow in Asia and enable people to perform at their best.
