This role is critical in driving high-quality business control, strategic decision-making, and continuous improvement across the business unit.\nWhat You Will Deliver\nManage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient and responsible use of resources\nOversee the annual target-setting process within the country Business Unit, ensuring strong management of targets, forecast accuracy, working capital control, business performance including top line, costs, Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT), and currency impact\nLead the implementation of global templates, facilitate reviews, and provide constructive challenge to country Business Unit submissions, including plan consolidation and annual budget presentation preparation for the Senior Executive Team\nAnalyze country Business Unit monthly performance based on various data sources including CORE, Crystal, and Prism, to derive a consistent and actionable picture of current performance, key issues, and required actions\nPrepare and present the Business Unit's monthly operations review to the Country Finance Manager\nSupport the country Business Unit on contractual negotiations, client and customer profitability analysis, internal and external presentations, issue tracking and management, investments, and other key developments requiring financial inputs\nAnalyze and constructively challenge the country Business Unit on key financial items such as advertising and promotion spend, working capital utilization, and cost development\nLead country Business Unit strategy setting and strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence, restructurings, disposals, and joint venture negotiations and management\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline Business Unit controlling processes and reporting, improving efficiencies through better utilization of automated systems such as Lighthouse and Exceedra\nManage internal interactions across the country Business Unit on business controlling matters to ensure timely understanding of financial performance and effective management of financial issues\nWork closely with Group Business Unit controllers to drive consistency in analytics and reporting standards\nDeliver high-quality business control support to the country Business Unit at all times\nLead, develop, and mentor a team of 2 Managers, driving change, process improvements, and a culture of breakthrough thinking, agility, and continuous learning \nWhat You Bring\nDegree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage\nMinimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity\nProven hands-on experience in SAP accounting applications; proficiency in Power BI is an advantage\nStrong research and analytical skills, including statistical computations and data-driven decision-making\nAdvanced knowledge and understanding of business and industry dynamics\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nFluent in English, both written and spoken \nWhy Join DKSH\nAt DKSH, we help companies grow in Asia and enable people to perform at their best.
