This role contributes directly to business growth by delivering high-quality management reporting, budgeting, investment analysis, and financial controls that enable informed strategic decisions at the country level.\nWhat You Will Deliver\nManage departmental operating budgets and costs in accordance with annual allocations to ensure efficient and accountable use of resources\nLead the annual target-setting process within the country Business Unit, ensuring implementation of global templates, coordinating review timetables, consolidating plans, and preparing budget presentations for the Senior Executive Team\nMonitor and analyze country Business Unit monthly performance using data sources including CORE, Crystal, and Prism, to provide a consistent and accurate picture of performance, key issues, and required action items\nAssist in preparing and presenting the Business Unit's monthly operations review to the Country Finance Manager\nPrepare comprehensive financial information to support the country Business Unit in contractual negotiations, client and customer profitability analysis, investment decisions, and issue tracking and management\nDeliver in-depth analyses and commentaries on key financial items including advertising and promotion spend, working capital utilization, and cost development to facilitate leadership discussions\nPrepare relevant analysis and insights to support country Business Unit strategy setting and strategic projects, including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) due diligence, restructurings, disposals, and joint venture negotiations\nLead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline Business Unit controlling processes and reporting, driving efficiency through the better utilization of automated systems including Lighthouse, CORE, and MORE\nManage internal stakeholder interactions across the country Business Unit on business controlling matters to ensure timely financial visibility and effective resolution of financial issues\nPartner with Group Business Unit controllers and local Country Finance Managers to drive consistency in analytics and reporting across markets\nAdministrative duties and coordination tasks as required\nWhat You Bring\nDegree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline\nMinimum five to eight years of experience in a similar role, preferably with country controlling exposure\nMinimum two to three years of experience in a managerial capacity\nSound knowledge and understanding of business and industry dynamics\nStrong knowledge and application of financial and accounting principles, including budgetary management\nHands-on experience with SAP accounting applications is an advantage\nStrong research and analytical skills, including statistical computations and data interpretation\nProficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nFluency in the local language; proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is an advantage\nWhy Join DKSH\nAt DKSH, we help companies grow in Asia and enable people to perform at their best.
