This role ensures quality, accuracy, and compliance with all federal and state regulations throughout the production cycle.\nJob Summary:\nThe Production Coordinator will handle work orders, inventory allocation, and seed labeling while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain efficiency and product integrity.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReceive and process work orders from the Sales Support team, Production Supervisor, and Location Operation Managers, following our quality standards.\nCreate and assign production orders within the ERP system.\nAllocate inventory according to designed formulations.\nUpdate formulations for custom jobs as required.\nGenerate accurate labels and tags for output products in compliance with federal and state regulations.\nAssist with inter-company transfers to fulfill production component needs.\nSupport the customer retest/re-tag process.\nAssist in Inventory Quality Control, including:\nSeed testing\nSeed tagging\nQuality management\nLab correspondence\nFollowing direction from designated Production Line Lead\nWork closely in a team environment with production administration and warehouse employees to meet production goals and seed labeling needs for shipping.\nCollaborate with location managers and Outside Sales Team members as needed.\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment.\nFollow all written and verbal instructions.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook).\nAbility to read and interpret legal documents, including federal and state seed regulations.\nStrong mathematical skills, including percentages and basic algebra.\n1-3 years of relevant office and customer service experience.\nExcellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions.\nStrong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization and follow-up skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail .\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects.\nAbility to work overtime hours as necessary.\nDemonstrated resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.\nPossess a strong willingness to learn and develop expertise over an extend period of time. \nPreferred:\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.\nExperience with Microsoft Navision or similar ERP systems.\nMinimum of a high school diploma.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nThis position comes with a competitive compensation plan that includes a base wage, health and wellness benefit options, retirement savings plan with company contribution, vacation, and personal days.\nWhy work for DLF?\nWe do good things!
