This role is essential to delivering an exceptional customer experience by supporting our sales team, coordinating customer orders, and collaborating with departments across the organization to ensure seamless service.\nAbout the Role\nThe Sales Support Specialist serves as a critical link between customers, the sales team, and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role combines customer service, order management, and administrative support, helping the sales team focus on driving business growth. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers and colleagues.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide day-to-day support to Sales Representatives to ensure efficient sales operations and high customer satisfaction.\nAnswer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.\nRespond to customer and sales representative inquiries or direct them appropriately based on the nature of the request or issue.\nAssist with processing customer orders, returns, credits, and invoicing while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.\nHandle escalated customer concerns with professionalism; work to de-escalate situations and achieve timely resolution.\nSupport pricing inquiries and provide product information, marketing materials, and related sales tools to customers and internal teams.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.\nMaintain confidential records within company system with a high level of discretion and integrity.\nContribute to process improvements that enhance the overall customer and sales support experience.\nPerform general administrative and office support tasks as needed.\nWhat You Bring\nExcellent interactive verbal, written communication skills.\nExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProven time management skills, ability to meet deadlines.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n2+ years of similar customer service experience in increasingly responsible roles.\nComfort with technology and strong ability to learn new systems.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Excel.\nAbility to work overtime hours as necessary.\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\n- Competitive hourly pay.\n- Full benefits package, including health, retirement, and paid time off.\n- Work that contributes to sustainable agriculture and environmental health.\nGrass does more than look good - it stores carbon, prevents erosion, supports biodiversity, and sustains life.
