DLH is dedicated to the idea that “Your Mission is Our Passion” and brings a unique combination of government sector experience, proven methodology, and unwavering commitment to innovation to improve the lives of millions.\nOverview \nThe DCGS-N Senior GitOps Engineer leads enterprise GitOps architecture, designs automated CI/CD release strategies, codifies Navy CM policy into pipeline guardrails (policy-as-code), and drives the technical migration away from legacy CM tools (e.g., CMPro).\nResponsibilities\nArchitect and govern the end-to-end software media generation process (e.g., gold-disk/ISO creation, OCI container artifact bundling, air-gapped release tarballs).\nEstablish cryptographic signing (Cosign/Sigstore), SHA-256 checksum verification, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation for all deployable media.Define the Software Media Custody and Transfer procedures to ensure tamper-proof distribution to tactical afloat/ashore DCGS-N nodes.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering\nSeven (7) years of IT professional experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.\nThe individual shall have experience integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance support.\nIndividual shall consider overall project design including cost, schedule, and social issues that may be associated with a project.\nFive (5) years of technical experience in support of ISR/IO. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Individual shall have or be able to attain within 30 Days of assignment Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II certification. Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Proficient in using DevOps tools for build, test, patch automation, and CM (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or Similar).
