Responsibilities\nCost Estimation & Budget Preparation:\nPrepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) construction projects and A&A (Alteration & Addition) projects.\nConstruction Plan Analysis:\nReview and analyze construction plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project costs.\nCost Optimization:\nIdentify potential areas for cost savings and propose value engineering options to enhance project value without compromising quality.\nTender & Bid Preparation:\nPrepare and submit accurate and competitive tender documents and bid proposals for potential contractors and suppliers.\nContract Negotiation:\nNegotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions that align with project budgets and requirements.\nProject Cost Management:\nOversee and manage the project’s financial performance, ensuring that costs are controlled and managed effectively throughout the construction process.\nProgress Reporting & Financial Monitoring:\nPrepare and present progress reports and financial statements to clients, highlighting any deviations or concerns.\nSite Inspections:\nConduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, ensure work aligns with specifications, and verify compliance with regulations.\nDispute Resolution:\nAddress and resolve disputes or claims related to project costs, budgets, or financial agreements, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.\nClient Advisory:\nProvide expert advice and guidance to clients regarding cost-related matters, assisting them in making informed financial decisions throughout the project.\nJob Requirements\nMin. 2 years of related working experience\nDiploma in Engineering or equivalent\nStrong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy\nProficiency in using computer software for cost estimating and project management\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of the team\nAbility to negotiate and manage contracts with contractors and suppliers\nUnderstanding of risk management and mitigation strategies\nFamiliarity with industry regulations and standards\nSkills\nNegotiation, Air Conditioning, Finishes, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Ventilation, Value Engineering, Administration, Attention to Detail, Project
