This opportunity is designed for someone with 0-2 years of experience who wants to learn how a global design firm pursues projects and communicates its expertise. \nThis role could be based in the following cities: \nDenver \nMinneapolis \nRiverside \nAbout the Marketing Team at DLR Group \nDLR Group’s Marketing team partners with design professionals and firm leaders to pursue new opportunities. Through proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations, the team connects our people’s expertise and project experience to each client’s needs. \nPosition Summary \nThe Communications Coordinator supports the preparation and delivery of proposals, statements of qualifications, and interview materials. Working alongside experienced pursuit professionals, you’ll help organize content, coordinate contributions from project teams, and produce clear, accurate, and visually engaging submissions. \nThis role offers hands-on experience with the pursuit process, from reviewing submission requirements to assembling final deliverables. You’ll receive guidance and feedback while developing your writing, document layout, and coordination skills in a collaborative design environment. \nWhat You Will Do \nAssist with responses to requests for qualifications and proposals, helping the team meet submission requirements and deadlines. \nHelp maintain pursuit schedules, track outstanding information, and follow up with contributors. \nGather and organize project descriptions, employee resumes, photography, and other supporting content. \nDraft, edit, and format proposal content with guidance from pursuit team members. \nUse Adobe InDesign and established templates to assemble proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations. \nProofread materials for grammar, accuracy, consistency, formatting, and compliance with submission instructions. \nHelp prepare final files and support electronic or printed submissions. \nMaintain current project information, resumes, and reusable pursuit content. \nCollaborate with pursuit and project team members across multiple offices to gather content, share updates, and support proposal deadlines. \nLearn DLR Group’s services, markets, and project experience to help tailor materials to prospective clients. \nRequired Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field \n0-2+ years of relevant experience. Internships, academic projects, and student organization experience are welcome. \nStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. \nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage tasks against deadlines. \nFamiliarity with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint. \nAbility to follow instructions, ask questions, and incorporate feedback. \nCollaborative approach and enthusiasm for learning. \nPreferred Qualifications \nExposure to proposals, statements of qualifications, or RFQ/RFP responses through coursework, internships, or professional experience. \nExperience with document layout, typography, or visual presentation. \nFamiliarity with the Adobe Creative Suite. \nExperience with Deltek Vantagepoint. \nOur comprehensive Benefits at DLR Group include medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, flex spending, paid holidays, and paid time off.
